Finally remember what this reboot approach reminds me of. Barry Blair had a series of elf-themed comics. Same cast with the same names, different looks and world building. Your storytelling is better, plus I can tell people I read your work without embarrassment.
Nope. That’s just a part of Bullet Buffalo, the school mascot. One of Quincy’s several gigs. The name of the strip was going to be ‘Ahead of the Curve’ back in 2005. I honestly can’t remember what inspired the change. I think I started drawing promo art with books dropping onto a character’s head and it hit me.

I was big into Elfquest as a kid. Looking up Barry Blair’s work, I discover I should’ve hung around a little bit longer.
Much to my surprise, this Omar is hot! Ouincy, on the other hand, is Quincy.
RUN FOR THE BORDER,Kevin!!!
Border’s no fun.
You wouldn’t happen to be a fan of Colleen Doran, would you, Corey? I sense similar vibes.
Can’t say that I’m familiar with her. I just Googled. Do you mean her writing or her art?
Is that giant head in the background the inspiration for the title?
